Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup at Mud Lake

Join CPAWS OV (Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society) at Mud Lake for a fun shoreline cleanup as a part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. All ages welcome!

When: Saturday, September 20 – 10AM

Where: Mud Lake Conservation Area (Meet at the parking lot on Cassels St. near the Brittannia Filtration Plant)

We are looking for a large group of dedicated volunteers to help us clean up this stunning location.
Bring your friends and spend some of the last days of summer outdoors while making a difference! The cleanup will be a great way to work independently or with a team of like minded people who care about our environment! CPAWS-OV board, staff, and volunteers are ready to prove that they are dedicated to preserving wild spaces in the Ottawa Valley – we hope that you will join us.
Please take a moment to RSVP online:

We will provide some gloves and garbage bags, but our supplies are limited. If you can, please bring a good pair of work gloves for yourself (and perhaps other volunteers).

Other things to bring can include water, snacks or a lunch.

The event will be taking place rain or shine so bring some rain gear if the weather calls for it! See you there!
