Hike to High Lonesome Nature Reserve - Soundscape in Action
CPAWS Ottawa Valley will be partering with Chad and Howard Clifford from the Missisipi Madawaska Land Trust, in our next excursion to High Lonesome Nature Reserve.
The day will start with a workshop lead by Chad Clifford on Soundscape Technology
Next Howard Clifford will do a presentation on Ecology Ethics.
Lastly to finish the day off Elena Kreuzberg will lead a hike through High Lonesome Nature Reserve to explore the changing landscape of late September.
Where: High Lonesome Nature Reserve, 867 Carbine Road, Pakenhan
Directions : From county road 29 in Pakenham drive west for 2.9 km and then turn left, after 1.6 km turn left at Carbine road
*Car pooling is also available in Ottawa at 9:00am at 190 Bronson (CPAWS-OV office)
Whenday : Sunday, September 27th; 10 am - 2 pm
Registration : On arrival by donation to Missisipi & Madawaska Land Trust
What to Bring : Art supplies and willingness to open your soul to the music of nature ( also food and drink for snacks or lunch)
How to Dress : Dress comfortably depending on the weathr conditions
