Jan 27 - Snowshoe Under the Stars

Join us on our snowhsoe under the stars evening! Come see the forest from an entirely different perspective and learn about our nocturnal wildlife. February is a fascinating time of the year, when the forest floor is blanked it snow. We will explore some interesting trails and landscapes that are usually closed to the public, followed by a campfire, hot chocolate and some little dessert treats on the top of a local mountain before heading back to the the starting point.

The trail is intended for intermediate to advanced snowshoers and presents some steep sections and some long climbs. The good news is that the return part is all down hill! The entire hike is about 4 km, return.

Meet at 6:30pm St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Mayo Quebec, 3889, route 315 in Mayo Quebec. The hike will last 2-2:30 hours.
