Gatineau Park is a pearl in any season, but beautiful winter landscapes make it especially attractive for winter visitors. Though this winter started out with very mild weather the end of January should have sufficient snow for snow shoeing. Join us for a hike to Healy Lodge from P15.  Bird feeders near the lodge are once again filled with seeds and we will have a chance to see some rare winter visitors like grosbeaks during our trip. This winter with abundant harvest of many coniferous trees is good for grosbeaks and other seed-eaters and their number can increase in our latitude with cold weather. We’ll stop at the lodge for tea and rest and that to look for birds and other wildlife fighting to survive in winter.

Bring your cameras and snacks for refreshment. Be prepared in accordance with weather.
Fees for snow-showing in the park:    $7 adult (18-59) $5 seniors and youth (13-17, 60+) Payable at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre.
