It's back for a bigger and better year!

It’s happening! We are so excited to bring you the second edition of the Ottawa Outdoor Film Festival!

We had such a great time last year and were blown away by all your support! With 500 people showing up on the night, there were some pretty good vibes and we could not have expected any better. It did get us to thinking however, maybe we need some more space and a little more time to contain all the love for the outdoors? That’s why this year we are setting up at the Bronson Center Theater where we hope to fill its 700 seats and bring in more local organisations and more fun!

More movies, more community, more great sponsors and awesome prizes!

And of course, with all proceeds going directly to caring for the places you love in the Ottawa Valley.

  • Beyond Parallels

    In 2024, the adventurers of the AKOR expeditions embark on a new large-scale challenge: crossing Canada’s Far North, from the Yukon to the eastern tip of the country on Baffin Island. A 6,900 km journey by bike, canoe, sailboat, and on foot. Beyond Horizons honestly recounts the victories and miseries of a crew that embarked on an ambitious expedition, often flirting with the absurd. The film also highlights the inner strength of two groups with very different realities, united by a common goal: daring to measure themselves against something greater than they are, for better or for worse.

Special talks and guest speakers

To help set the tone and add to the inspirational aspect of the evening, we will also have some special talks and guest speakers to present local projects, conservation efforts, interesting facts about wildlife in the Ottawa Valley and much more!

Of course, we are all about growing a community of nature warriors to help protect our eco-systems so there will be plenty to share on how you can get involved with caring for nature in your own backyard as well as how to get out there and enjoy it!
